A year in the making, we are thrilled to announce our partnership with Carly Rowena for her first jewellery collection - "Move Your Mind".

It has been a hard secret to keep, but with an exciting buzz here in the Lisa Angel office, we are eager for you to finally explore our ‘Move Your Mind’ jewellery collaboration with personal trainer, fitness blogger, and body positive ambassador, Carly Rowena.

We first connected with Carly over our shared love of jewellery at our Chapelfield store opening towards the end of last year, and after a long chat about our designs, and her favourite pieces, we asked Carly if she would like to create something unique and special with us - and we couldn’t be happier that she said yes! Developed around Carly’s passion for body positivity, her strive for positive self-image shines through each necklace, bracelet and earring in this collection, and you yourself can curate your very own effortlessly special look by combining and layering each piece.

Each necklace, earring and bracelet from this eight piece collection is crafted from polished 18ct gold plated sterling silver, with select items completed with opalite detailing - Carly’s favourite stone.

The mind is sometimes the largest hurdle that we all struggle to overcome, and Carly’s ‘Move Your Mind’ mantra has always kept her motivated and moving forward, and we hope it does the same for you too! Each piece has been designed to speak to those of us who want to tend to our minds and not just our bodies. Tactile and textured, each piece is to be worn as a reminder that we are all beautifully unique and special within our own right, with soft edges and glistening stones to represent that we are all perfectly imperfect and shining bright, always.

"I am beyond excited to introduce to you my first ever jewellery range. Growing up I always loved how my mum never matched her jewellery and I couldn’t wait to wear my own, it wasn’t until my partner proposed with a customised opal ring (my father’s birthstone) that I thought one day I could create my own bespoke jewellery collection. My ethos has always been to "move your mind" because in all honesty, your mind is your biggest obstacle, and in a world obsessed with perfection and sharing highlights online, I have always believed in being yourself. I wanted to create a collection that was a little raw around the edges, centered around an imperfect circle and an opalite crystal to reflect my favourite memory of an opal stone. I’m hoping that this customisable collection is the little reminder you need to keep moving, even when you don’t feel like you can."

I’ve followed Carly’s story for a while, I personally love yoga and healthy living, and I’ve always admired her natural enthusiasm for life - she is always oozing with positivity.

Carly told me that she loved our jewellery designs and I couldn’t have been happier. I quite quickly asked her if she would be interested in a jewellery collaboration, bringing together our ideas to create something wonderful, and I was over the moon when she was as excited about the idea as I was!

When we started the design process together, I was inspired by her impressive storyboard of ideas - It turned out, the range would be more than just a collection of jewellery. Carly wanted the pieces to signify positivity; to be a reminder to ourselves in a world of perceived perfection, nobody is perfect, and it’s okay to be our imperfect selves. The range has a rawness about it that made it unique and beautiful, just as we all are.

My personal favourite piece from the range is an organic shaped necklace, with a ring that is strung loosely on a long satellite chain. It can be hand stamped with names or dates for a personalised touch! It layers up perfectly with the other necklaces in the collection too.

Together we have made a range that is a beautiful harmony of the Lisa Angel craftsmanship, finish and distinct style, coupled with Carly’s influence of design ideas and concepts. We are so happy with the results and can’t wait to see what our customers think of the range.
