Joining the Lisa Angel Team

Who are we?
For over 20 years, Lisa Angel has held a deep commitment to thoughtful design in a collaborative workplace. The story began in 2004 when our founder and creative director, Lisa, chose to leave her buying career in London to pursue a dream of making and selling her own jewellery. Those first handmade pieces were taken to craft markets and trade fairs where customers instantly recognised the heart behind the designs, and this marked the beginning of a company that would grow steadily while staying true to its independent spirit.
What started with three people working from a living room floor soon became a business with a clear identity and a loyal following. As the brand expanded, it moved from local markets to established retail spaces. Our Lower Goat Lane store in Norwich opened in 2011, followed in 2018 by a second warm and welcoming space in Chantry Place. These stores created places for customers to discover beautifully made jewellery, accessories, and gifts in person and enjoy the personal service that is at the centre of what we do.
Alongside our physical shops, Lisa Angel's thriving website and active wholesale trade allows our products to reach customers and stockists around the world while staying closely connected to our Norfolk roots. In 2020, in-house dried flower brand The Norfolk Flower Room was launched, inspired by Lisa’s love of natural and sustainable home décor. This addition brought fresh colour and creativity to homes and events and quickly became a vital part of the business.
Throughout every chapter, three values have guided our decisions. Creativity influences every design we produce, from personalised jewellery to embroidered accessories. Positivity shapes our culture and approach to challenges, and care remains central to how we treat our customers, our team, and the independent makers we regularly collaborate with.
Today, we continue to reimagine what the high street can be. Our many stores offer a welcoming environment where customers can explore thoughtful products and enjoy a personal experience. Many of our items are personalised or made in-house by our Norfolk team, ensuring that each piece feels truly meaningful. We also curate collections from small independent brands whose values reflect our own.
Although the company has grown significantly, Lisa Angel remains proudly independent. We have expanded into a vibrant business with a dedicated team and a global reach, yet our purpose has never changed. We continue to design and source thoughtful pieces that spark happiness, mark special moments, and offer customers something genuine and heartfelt. As we look to the future, our focus remains on creativity, quality of experience, and care for the people and communities around us.
What is the role?
Assistant Buyer
As the business continues to grow, the Lisa Angel buying team plays a crucial role in shaping the products our customers love. We are looking for an Assistant Buyer to join us at our head office in Rackheath, Norfolk.
This full-time, permanent role is ideal for someone with experience in a buying environment who is ready to develop their career within a supportive and forward-thinking team.
The Assistant Buyer will help ensure that the department meets sales, stock, and margin goals through careful product development and trading. The role helps build strong relationships with suppliers, manages the department’s day-to-day activity, and collaborates with internal teams to make sure every product launches on time, both online and in stores. This exciting role will contribute directly to the continued success of a company that values creativity, commercial awareness, and informed decision-making.
We are looking for someone who is already working as an Assistant Buyer or who has experience within a busy buying environment. A strong understanding of the buying critical path, product cycle, supplier relationships, and trading is essential. You will also need a good understanding of our customer profile and the type of product that resonates with our audience.
Key skills include the ability to work independently to deadlines, strong commercial awareness, clear organisation, and confident time management. You will need a solid working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and be comfortable forming positive relationships across internal teams and external suppliers. A proactive attitude, strong communication skills, and confidence in negotiation are all important.
Your responsibilities will include managing the critical path and supporting every stage of product development. You will contribute to product meetings, identify opportunities within the range, and work closely with Design on new product development. You will review competitor activity, analyse sales patterns, and help shape pricing decisions. A trading mindset is essential, as you will be expected to respond to sales, monitor stock levels, recommend promotions, and take action to drive performance. You will also support the wider buying team, helping to organise workload and prioritise tasks.
This role offers the opportunity to develop your buying career within a company that values creativity, personal growth, and collaborative working. You will join a team that takes pride in thoughtful product development and strives to deliver meaningful and inspiring collections. If you are commercially minded, organised, and eager to contribute to a respected independent brand, we would be delighted to hear from you.
