We are seeking an experienced warehouse supervisor to work at our head office in Rackheath. The successful candidate will work to ensure the warehouse team are able to fulfil their roles, from goods in to picking and packing orders. Ability to motivate and manage a team are essential, and experience of doing this under pressure is really important, as they will be responsible for a team of up to forty staff across the warehouse.
As we are a growing company the ability to change and adapt is essential, no two days are the same here and there will always be new problems to solve. A successful supervisor will lead by example and feel comfortable taking action to ensure that our daily targets and deadlines are met.
Occasionally it may be necessary for us to make deliveries to our store locations in Norwich, and to assist with the setup for trade shows across the country. Therefore, it is desirable that candidates are able to drive a van, and comfortable with a small amount of travel across the country when necessary.
The warehouse supervisor will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and effective running of all aspects of our warehouse in Rackheath. They will help to manage the warehouse staff and help them to achieve our daily targets and deadlines, whilst overseeing daily operations across retail orders, goods in, stock control and web orders.
