Lisa Angel Careers

We are seeking an experienced warehouse supervisor to work at our head office in Rackheath. The successful candidate will work to ensure the warehouse team are able to fulfil their roles, from goods in to picking and packing orders. Ability to motivate and manage a team are essential, and experience of doing this under pressure is really important, as they will be responsible for a team of up to forty staff across the warehouse.

As we are a growing company the ability to change and adapt is essential, no two days are the same here and there will always be new problems to solve. We work closely with other departments and you will get to learn a lot about our personalisation department, customer services, retail outlets, and marketing and buying departments.

Experience of dealing with stock, both in a physical sense and using stock management IT systems, is also preferable, as we have a large amount of stock split across four units, which all need monitoring and the space managed carefully to ensure we always have the right stock in the right place. Energy and enthusiasm go a long way here, as we are incredibly busy at certain times of the year. An ability to self-motivate and encourage the best from the rest of the team is very important, and something that our supervisors do on a daily basis. A successful supervisor will lead by example and feel comfortable taking action to ensure that our daily targets and deadlines are met.

Occasionally it may be necessary for us to make deliveries to our store locations in Norwich, and to assist with the setup for trade shows across the country. Therefore, it is desirable that candidates are able to drive a van, and comfortable with a small amount of travel across the country when necessary.
