CONTENT WRITER

(Full time - 40 hours per week)

Rackheath, Norwich

We are expanding our content team and have an opportunity for a talented Content Writer to join the team to bring our products to life.

The Content Writer will be responsible for creating and optimising accurate and compelling product listings for the Lisa Angel website and partner websites.

The role also involves creating and maintaining other content for the Lisa Angel website with a strong focus on Search Engine Optimisation (SEO).

Main responsibilities

  • Create and upload new product listings to the Lisa Angel website and partner websites via each CMS (Content Management System)
  • Writing descriptive, engaging and search optimised online content to provide accurate product information
  • Ensure all content we produce is true to the product and consistent with our brand
  • Work closely with the photography team to ensure the correct product imagery is uploaded to each listing and displayed correctly
  • Work with the rest of the marketing team and the product team to proactively grow our presence and range of products on our partner websites
  • Keep up to date with SEO principles and use keyword research to optimise products and pages on our website to maximise reach to our target audience
  • Regularly review and update category page content adhering to SEO principles and best practice
  • Review competitors, search and other brands to keep on top of market trends and how best to optimise content
  • Continually review and optimise product listings on the Lisa Angel and partner websites based on analytic and sales data
  • Work to daily deadlines and targets
  • Assisting the rest of the marketing team on project work when required
  • Complete various admin and ad hoc duties as required

The successful Content Writer will have the following attributes:

  • Previous experience in a content or copywriting role
  • Previous experience and knowledge of SEO principles
  • An impeccable level of attention to detail
  • Excellent written skills
  • Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal - a strong grasp of spelling and grammar is essential
  • Able to write long form and short form content
  • A natural ability to proofread
  • Experienced and proficient using a computer
  • Must be a reliable multi-tasker with excellent organisational skills
  • Ability to learn quickly and take on board constructive feedback
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

DIGITAL MARKETING MANAGER - PPC & SEO

(Full time - 40 hours per week)

Rackheath, Norwich

We have an exciting opportunity for a PPC and SEO specialist to join our dynamic, agile marketing team at Lisa Angel HQ in Norwich. We’re looking for a talented PPC and SEO specialist to manage our paid search (Google Shopping/PPC) and Search Engine Optimisation activity.

You will be responsible for the day-to-day management and optimisation of our Google Adwords activity; predominantly Google Shopping campaigns, but also search and display ads. You will work continuously to optimise activity and maximise ROI from paid search spend.

You will also be responsible for monitoring and improving our search engine rankings using both on and off page Search Engine Optimisation. You’ll work with the wider marketing team to help deliver a high-quality web user experience that adheres to Google’s best practices.

Main responsibilities

Manage PPC activity including Google Shopping, search, display and retargeting campaigns, to include:

  • Daily/weekly optimisation of campaigns and bids
  • Test & learn of new campaigns & bid strategies
  • Keyword optimisation of search campaigns
  • Testing and updating of ad copy & extensions on search campaigns
  • Monitor the product feed and ensure new products are added to shopping campaigns
  • Plan and brief creative for display ads
  • Regularly monitor and report on KPIs including CTR, CR%, profit margins and ROI
  • Produce monthly data & insight reports

Oversee SEO strategy, monitoring and implementation, to include:

  • Researching search engine updates, algorithms and implementing best practices
  • Reviewing and continually improving metadata, content and reporting any code issues and site errors
  • Link building strategy
  • Conducting keyword research and working with the Product Writers to ensure the correct keywords are implemented across the website
  • Making content suggestions and identifying gaps in keyword placement
  • Produce monthly performance reports

Looking after a small affiliate programme, to include:

  • Monitoring and approval of affiliate commission
  • Liaising with our Affiliate management company
  • Working with the Head of Marketing and wider marketing team to improve the user experience and conversion rate optimisation (CRO) of the Lisa Angel website

Skills & requirements

  • At least 2 years’ experience in an ecommerce PPC role
  • Proven experience and success of managing Google Shopping, search and display campaigns
  • Good working knowledge of Adwords
  • Experience with product data feeds and the Google Merchant Centre
  • Proven Search Engine Optimisation experience
  • Knowledge of and experience with SEO tools such as SEMrush and Moz
  • Basic knowledge of CMS platforms
  • Strong Excel, analytical skills and experience using Google Analytics
  • Be data driven and have a good understanding of ROI measurements/attributions
  • Good understanding of website design and CRO principles
  • Passion for PPC and SEO, with the desire and willingness to keep on top of channel and industry trends and insight
  • Proactive at developing and suggesting new innovative idea

  • Experience in Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO)
  • Knowledge/experience of A/B testing and landing page test programmes
  • Experience managing affiliate activity
  • Knowledge and experience of automated bid strategies
