IT Support & Systems Administrator

Full time (40 hours per week)

Rackheath, Norwich

An exciting opportunity to join the technical team at Lisa Angel.

This role is a mixture of 1st, 2nd and 3rd level IT support as well as more high level projects. It’s ideal for someone wanting to progress but who still likes to get stuck into support. You’ll be assisting our lovely staff working across our warehouses and offices based in Rackheath as well as our shops in Norwich city centre. You’ll be monitoring, maintaining and improving the network and internal servers and services.

We use a wide mixture of technologies from the traditional Active Directory Windows devices to portable handheld android devices, tablets and iPads/iPhones, Macs and more.

You’ll be managing our inventory of equipment as well as sourcing and setting up new devices and services.

You’ll be working closely with the in house development team, triaging bug requests, helping gather additional information required for issue diagnosis and following up to ensure they've been rectified. You’ll also have the chance to get involved in testing new code releases and ensuring inhouse systems are running smoothly.

We’re looking for someone who’s here for the long-term; the ideal candidate will have strong experience in all aspects of IT including networking, server admin and end user support as they’ll be the sole IT support/SysAdmin. We want someone that knows their stuff but can also bring fresh ideas, and follow through with them. You’ll be supported by the dev team, but you’ll have the freedom to implement your own ideas that will support the success of the company.

Salary will be dependent on your current level but will be reviewed as you progress and in line with growth of the company.

The role will be based in our headquarters in Rackheath and we use remote tools for supporting offsite users. However, you will need your own transport in order to visit other local sites for issues that can’t be rectified remotely.

Possibility for home working during Covid19 but the role is intended to be on-site during normal business operation.

The role is 40 hours per week, over 5 days. You’ll be required to work weekends over peak training (such as Christmas) but not all year.

Creative Production (Personalisation) Supervisor

2 positions available

Full time (40 hours per week) 6 month temporary contract

Rackheath, Norwich

Here at Lisa Angel we make and ship personalised and bespoke orders to customers all over the world. Our busy production department deals with engraving, printing, handmade jewellery and other creative methods of producing beautiful, personal products.

We have two vacancies for supervisors within the department, who will be responsible for ensuring that orders are dispatched swiftly and every order meets our high standards of quality. They will also be responsible for delegating jobs to the team, ensuring the physical security of the building, helping to manage stock levels, and motivating the team through busy periods.

The successful candidates will receive full training, but some experience with digital design/production software and supervising a team is desirable, as well as a creative and organised personality. Please provide a cover letter with your application to outline your relevant experience. Please note, these roles will initially be offered as fixed term contracts until January 2022.

 

Main responsibilities:

  • Assisting with the managing and motivating a team to ensure efficiency and maximum output
  • Supporting the Manager and covering in their absence
  • Managing stock levels and making key decisions about stock control
  • Liaising with Photography and the Online Marketing team
  • Assisting with dealing with staffing issues such as interviewing potential staff, holidays, staff rotas, conducting appraisals and performance reviews, as well as providing or organising training and development

  • Ensuring standards for quality, customer service and health and safety are met
  • Responding to customer complaints and comments
  • Touring the production area regularly, talking to colleagues and identifying or resolving urgent issues.

Buyer (Level 2)

Maternity Cover - 1 year temporary contract

Full time (40 hours per week)

Rackheath, Norwich

The Buyer is responsible for planning and selecting a range of products for Lisa Angel to sell online and within our retail outlets.

The Buyer will be responsible for creating purchase order tracking systems, alerting management when orders have been filled and invoices from vendors have been issued, answering vendor questions and providing them with additional order documentation as needed. The Level 2 Buyer will have an in-depth knowledge of the financials and bring confidence to this role in their Buying decisions.

 

Main responsibilities:

  • Analysing consumer buying patterns and predicting future trends.
  • Prepare notes for photography, product writers, jewellery makers and personalisation jewellery makers to ensure that the product is produced and delivered to the required standard.
  • Regularly review the range as it goes online and overseeing listings to ensure photography, model shoots and product information within the Buyers department is correct and action any necessary amendments.
  • React to trade to ensure the skeleton of the new range includes new versions of the best sellers and ensure / push for those versions to be developed and sampled in a timely manner. Checking current buying bible and best sellers, recommend and instigate repeats, action move ons and disregard any products that have not worked.
  • Ensure the Designer is focusing the right amount of time on the right projects and ensure all design needs are briefed in a timely manner, in conjunction with the buying calendar.
  • Ensure Design time is recorded on Trello and review weekly with the Designer.
  • Produce new inspiration, looking at the team’s inspiration and suggest new products and new designs, ensure that these suggestions are followed through.
  • Put together ranges for all stores in line with our customer profile, requirements and critical path. Review these ranges to ensure sales are good, put action plans in place for slow/poor products, i.e. swap styles, suggest props, POS, marketing, come up with a strategy when sales are falling behind and follow this through.
  • Identify ranging opportunities.
  • Quality Control - decide what tests are needed and ensure they are tested in a prompt manner. Ensure correct labelling and packaging (eco-friendly) is used for all products, including barcodes for Topshop. Ensure products are safe and can pass REACH standards.
  • Taking and organising video conferences, phone calls, and quality checks for Quality Control.
  • Have an in depth knowledge of the financials, to be aware of budgets and to try where possible to work within constraints of the budget and range plan.
  • Have an in-depth knowledge of range plan, buying bible, option count, and demonstrate the comparison between current season and history.
  • Bring confidence to the role by pushing the range through, using persuasion skills to get products developed, products designed, samples in hand, workable margins, workable delivery dates, orders signed off so the range falls within the buying critical path.
  • To be focused on the range and in particular best-selling lines and slow sellers and ensure a close eye is on stock, sales, shipment dates, photos, quality issues etc. As a safety net for the merchandiser placing the repeat buys. React fast when necessary by placing repeats, negotiating quick shipments, instructing marketing, promotion activity.
  • Managing plans for stock levels.
  • Reacting to changes in demand and logistics.
  • Meeting suppliers and negotiating terms of contract.
  • Maintain an efficient and accurate system for monitoring all open purchase orders.
  • Maintaining relationships with existing suppliers and sourcing new suppliers for future products.
  • Obtain and accept import quotes, track imports and organise delivery schedule.
  • Review current sourcing methods and suppliers to ensure value for money and ethical sourcing.
  • Understanding the basic rules of vendor management, allocation and price negotiation.
  • Liaising with other departments within the organisation to ensure projects are completed.
  • Attending trade fairs, in the UK and overseas, to select and assemble a new collection of products.
  • Participating in promotional activities.
  • Presenting new ranges to Senior Managers/Directors.
  • Liaising with shops to ensure supply meets demand.
  • Training and mentoring junior staff.

Managing Director

The Managing Director will oversee all business operations, performance of the Company and people. They will be responsible for guiding the Company in the most profitable direction while also implementing its vision, mission and long-term goals in line with the Company’s Strategy.

We are looking for an experienced Managing Director who has successfully implemented an online growth strategy in a relevant omnichannel retailer.

 

Main responsibilities:

  • Develop an overall strategy for the Company that delivers sustainable profitable growth, communicate this strategy to all staff and ensure appropriate policies are developed to meet the Company’s mission and objectives.
  • Prepare and implement annual business plans, work with the Senior Management Team to oversee their implementation, monitor progress against these plans to ensure that the company attains its objectives as cost-effectively and efficiently as possible.
  • Build and maintain an effective Senior Management Team to ensure they are motivated, trained and developed to deliver the Company’s mission and objectives. Delegate responsibilities and supervise the work of the Senior Management team providing guidance and motivation to drive performance.

  • Work closely with the Operations Manager, Head of Marketing and Developers to drive eCommerce forward. Oversee all aspects of eCommerce including business planning, content strategy, promotional campaigns, online marketing, website design, customer service, web analytics and web technologies.
  • Oversee the company’s financial performance, full responsibility of the P&L, preparation of the annual report, investments and other business ventures and ensure their approval by the Owners/Directors. Report Company results to the Owners/Directors at regular intervals.
  • Set Company budgets and forecasts alongside the Owners/Accountants.
  • Prepare, gain acceptance, and monitor the implementation of the annual budget to ensure that budget targets are met, that revenue flows are maximised and that fixed costs are minimised.
  • Assume full accountability for the Owners/Directors for all company operations.
  • Communicate and maintain effective relationships with major customers, business partners, suppliers, key decision makers and other stakeholders to drive the business forward.
  • Represent the company in negotiations with customers, suppliers, government departments and other key contacts to secure for it the most effective contract terms.
  • Develop and direct the implementation of policies and procedures to ensure that the company complies with all health and safety and other statutory regulations including product compliance in line with Global Standards.

 

Required skills:

  • Proven track record of successfully managing an ecommerce organisation at Managing Director level and has successfully implemented an online growth strategy.
