WAREHOUSE OPERATIVE (TEMPORARY)

 

(Zero hours contract - Part time increasing to Full time – Temporary until 31st December 2018) Rackheath

 

The Warehouse Assistant (Retail Orders) will be based in our warehouse, and ensure the smooth dispatch of all orders within required time targets, and help to maintain the organisation of stock within the warehouse. They will be responsible for preparing and dispatching large orders to our stores, concessions and wholesale customers.

Main Responsibilities

  • Ensuring all sales orders are prepared in accordance with customer needs and specification
  • Checking, labelling and packing all orders in the correct way for each customer’s needs
  • Liaising with other departments within the company or warehouse
  • Ensuring that all orders are completed and dispatched to the correct destinations
  • Maintaining a neat and well organised workplace
  • Adhering to and carrying out the company’s health and safety standards
  • Packing products effectively and efficiently
  • Ensuring all orders are dispatched within the lead times as agreed
  • And any other duties that may be required by the Company from time to time.

Skills and attributes:

  • Able to carry out small and detailed work quickly
  • Good IT skills
  • Self motivated but equally work well in a team setting
  • Experience in retail, warehouse or production line work
  • The ability to complete paperwork and count stock items
  • Punctual, honest and reliable
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail

GOODS IN ASSISTANT (TEMPORARY)

 

(Zero hours contract - Part time increasing to Full time – Temporary until 31st December 2018) Rackheath

 

The Goods In Assistant will control the flow of stock through the warehouse, monitoring deliveries and efficiently moving and handling items to their required destination.

Main Responsibilities

  • Assisting with deliveries
  • Check goods in against delivery notes for accuracy and damages
  • Enter delivery notes onto the company system promptly and accurately
  • Notify the relevant Department of any short shipments/mis-picks
  • Notify relevant Department of any damaged goods received and await further instruction
  • Assist when required with the physical movement of stock from the Goods In area to the warehouse and/or packing and putting away stock
  • Ensure all stock movements are accurately recorded
  • Carry out stock checking and maintain record inventory accuracy
  • Keep working areas, including outside clean and tidy
  • And any other duties that may be required by the Company from time to time.

Skills and attributes:

  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work to procedures
  • Good communication
  • PC literate with good administration skills
  • Experience in manual handling and Goods In/Out preferred by not essential
  • Ability to prioritise workload
  • Flexible and trustworthy
  • Assistants should be physically fit as they will be on their feet for most of the day and may be required to lift large amounts of heavy stock.

ENGRAVING ASSISTANT (TEMPORARY)

The Engraving Assistant will be responsible for the production and personalisation of jewellery and home wares to a high standard which is also in line with the Company policy.

Main Responsibilities

  • Efficiently and accurately personalise products using a variety of machinery to meet the customers specifications.
  • Working with creative software to edit artwork and images as per the customers personalisation.
  • Working closely with other team members and departments to ensure all products are personalised and made to a high quality.
  • Assembling, polishing and cleaning products.
  • Maintaining a clean safe work environment
  • And any other duties that may be required by the Company from time to time.

Skills and attributes:

  • Ability to stay calm under pressure
  • Methodical and thorough approach to work
  • Great Organisational Skills
  • Previous experience with creative software

The Handmade Assistant will be responsible for the production and personalisation of jewellery to a high standard which is also in line with the Company policy.

Main Responsibilities

  • Accurately hand stamping customer’s personalisations onto various types of jewellery and charms to meet the set standard as given during training
  • Assembling and altering a wide variety of jewellery, including welding, polishing and buffing
  • Maintaining a clean safe work environment
  • Working closely with other team members and departments to ensure all products are personalised and made to a high quality
  • Will also be required to work with an embroidery machine
  • And any other duties that may be required by the Company from time to time.

CONCESSION RETAIL MANAGER

(Full Time – Temporary Contract – 1 year) Topshop Oxford Circus

 

The Retail Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day running of our stores.

Main Responsibilities

  • Managing and motivating a team to increase sales and ensure efficiency
  • Managing stock levels and making key decisions about stock control
  • Analysing sales figures and forecasting future sales
  • Using IT to record sales figures, for data analysis and forward planning
  • Dealing with staffing issues such as interviewing potential staff, conducting appraisals and performance reviews, as well as providing or organising training and development
  • Assisting with the set up and organisation of any new top shop locations
  • Assisting with the recruitment and training of staff in any Top Shop locations
  • Ensuring standards for quality, customer service and health and safety are met
  • Responding to customer complaints and comments

  • Touring the sales floor regularly, talking to colleagues and customers and identifying or resolving urgent issues
