Job Description

Lisa Angel is an independently owned, UK-based, jewellery and gifting brand known for its creative designs and personalised products. With a strong online presence and a network of retail partners, Lisa Angel aims to deliver exceptional customer experiences through its website and associated channels. Lisa Angel is seeking a talented Content Writer to join our team and contribute to our growing brand. As a Content Writer, you will be responsible for crafting engaging and persuasive content for product listings, web copy, and longer form content aimed at enhancing our SEO strategy. Your primary goal will be to create content that captivates our audience, drives traffic to our website, and ultimately increases sales.

Key Responsibilities

Product Listings: Create compelling product descriptions that highlight key features, benefits, and unique selling points. Ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency across all product listings.
Web Copy: Write persuasive and concise web copy for various pages of our ecommerce platform, including homepages, category pages, and landing pages. Tailor content to effectively communicate our brand message and value proposition.
Longer Form Content: Develop longer form content such as blog posts, articles, guides, and infographics to support our SEO strategy. Conduct keyword research and optimize content for search engines while maintaining high-quality and engaging writing.
Work to targets: working with the ecommerce executive to prioritize output and work to deliver against set targets.
Optimisation: Continually review and optimise existing product listings on the Lisa Angel and partner websites based on analytics data, sales data, industry research and SEO best practice
Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, design, and product development to ensure content aligns with overall brand strategy and objectives.
Stay Updated: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in content writing, ecommerce, and SEO. Apply new insights to enhance content strategies and drive results.

Requirements

Proven Experience: 1- 2 years experience in a similar role, and work within ecommerce highly desirable.
CMS experience: Confidence in working within CMS platforms and an ability to adapt and master new systems at speed.
SEO Knowledge: Strong understanding of SEO principles and best practices. Experience with keyword research, on-page optimization, and content optimization techniques.
Excellent Writing Skills: Exceptional writing and editing skills with model grammar, spelling, and punctuation. Ability to craft clear, concise, and persuasive content that resonates with target audiences.
Creativity: Creative thinker with the ability to generate innovative ideas for content that differentiates our brand and drives engagement.
Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and consistency in content creation and proofreading.
Time Management: Effective time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing requirements
Team Player: Strong collaborative skills with the ability to work effectively across departments.
