As spring begins to bloom, we may start to think about the wonderful people who helped us blossom into the people we are. With many different paths that lead to motherhood and the countless roles that mother figures play, we have so much to celebrate. They teach us things we can’t begin to fathom, from tying our shoelaces to learning right from wrong, our mother figures help us in every area of life. But, there’s no one-size-fits-all path for motherhood. This Mother’s Day, we want to stress all of the different journeys. From the first-time mums to the last-time mums, from grandmothers to aunties, with such a vast range of people shaping who we are, we want to embrace Every Kind of Mum this Mother’s Day.
As we progress through life, we may be influenced by different mother figures. The mothers that impact us in ways we might not always recognise. Like our mother-in-laws, our aunts or our uncles.
