Plastic free packaging

Our packaging and supplier practices prioritise sustainability.

Since 2020, we have ensured that all of our outbound packaging is free from plastic. Moreover, 85% of this packaging is not only made from 100% recycled materials but is also 100% recyclable and 100% compostable, which demonstrates our unwavering commitment to environmental stewardship. The remaining 15% is crafted from materials that are 70% recycled, alongside FSC-certified paper or card, thus guaranteeing responsible sourcing. In 2023, we dispatched 43.3 tonnes of recyclable packaging, equivalent to the weight of a large whale, highlighting the significant impact of our eco-conscious efforts. Additionally, we opted for 760kg of recyclable kraft tape instead of plastic alternatives, showcasing our dedication to reducing plastic waste. Impressively, the length of kraft tape used totalled 160km, roughly equivalent to the distance between Norwich and London. These practices underscore our firm commitment to sustainable packaging solutions, aligning with our broader pledge to environmental responsibility.

As a business rooted in positivity, creativity, and care, we believe in standing up for inclusivity not just in words, but through action, and this partnership is a meaningful step in that journey.

Our presence at Pride, along with the launch of several fundraising items, is about more than just celebration. It's about visibility, connection, and allyship. As an independent business based in Norwich, we’re proud to support the local LGBTQIA+ community and to help amplify the voices, experiences, and creativity within it.

At Lisa Angel, we place great importance on actively contributing to our local community and supporting charitable causes. We are committed to allocating a portion of our annual product allowance towards assisting local causes and fundraising efforts. Over the years, we have proudly supported various organisations, including the NHS Trust, Norfolk Wildlife Trust, and East Anglian Ambulance Service, as well as numerous community groups and schools. This commitment reflects our dedication to making a positive impact and fostering stronger ties within our community.

Norwich University of Arts

As a creative company rooted in Norwich, we have worked closely with the Norwich University of the Arts (NUA) over a number of years. We actively engage with the university's educational initiatives, enriching the minds and honing the skills of its student body through its integrated learning opportunities scheme. Moreover, our dedication to fostering local talent is exemplified by our collaboration with Owen Mathers, a former NUA pupil, who created a captivating collection showcasing his breathtaking watercolour landscapes of Norwich City.
